Like many vans in its class there are choices and options with the Transit Connect - the L1 and L2 short and long wheelbase versions. In addition to this is the Kombi model which makes the vehicle a crew van. The addition of a second row of seats increases the van from a 3 seater to a 7 seater vehicle. There are 4 options for trims with the Connect which are the Leader, Trend, Limited and Sport.
The Ford Transit Connect enjoys a load volume of 2.9 cubic metres with the L1 model which increases to 3.6 cubic metres with the L2 model. The payload capacity ranges from 630kg to 1000kg. The length can be increased from between 3 metres to 3.6 metres thanks to the foldable bulk head. This makes it an ideal vehicle from transporting ladders, pipes and all manner of long objects. The load space can be accessed either through the nearside sliding door or the rear doors. The low load sill also adds to the ease of loading and unloading.
